Prof Kathleen Bennett is Associate Professor in Biostatistics, Head of the Data Science Centre and Deputy Head of Research in the School of Population Health, RCSI. The Data Science Centre supports research at RCSI, by consulting on study design, analysis and reporting of health research. Kathleen also undertakes a programme of research in pharmacoepidemiology and epidemiology including cancer epidemiology. Kathleen completed her BSc in mathematics and statistics and PhD in statistics at Southampton University, UK. She has previously worked in Industry, as an academic researcher in the UK and in St James’s Hospital/Trinity College Dublin before joining RCSI in 2016.
